Well, it's official....Leighton graduated from 5th grade at Washington Elementary School today. They had a program and sang lots of patriotic songs and then they all walked through the "W" as their names were read. Austin, Tanner, and now Leighton have all attended Washington Elementary for grades Kindergarten thru 5th grade. Leighton is 10 years old, almost 11. She's been in the Eagle Chorus this year, and has taken extra computer classes before and after school. She has lots of really great friends and is happy that many of them will go on to Fossil Ridge Intermediate with her in the Fall. Mr. Burke Staheli has been her Principal, and Mrs. Donetta Horrocks has been her teacher for 5th grade.
